@witchyhour 's using pumps and spray heads with a remote res, not dwc. It's still 1 res per pot, but I think she's moving towards shared res. Just incase she can't find her thread or remember what she's doing!

Well, I'm actually moving to a shared reservoir because I wanna share fog... [emoji121] [emoji6]

It doesn't take much! The empty pots will do it, changing gear in the van does it!

I use one of these and it helps when my wrists are finicky.

And while looking for that, I saw this one that seems good, too.

Cheers man! I'll go and have a read shortly.

What I want is a QUIET hydro system because it's going to have to go in my bedroom. Cost is important, under 100 quid for 3 or 4 plants worth of equipment. My tent is 120 wide by 80 deep. I need to see and hear a Wilma in action before I commit, really. That's probably the next step. How long can it go without having to pump the water, but avoiding the roots drying out?

I don't think there's such a thing as a quite hydro system just by forcing air through a pipe you will create vibration (noise) even with Autopots and coco I still use an airpump but it's a lot smaller I'm not sure on the timings on a wilma I used coco only ran it for 1 minute at a time 6x aday

I run it a couple of times a day as a seedling building up to on all the time the lights are on. Sang doesn't run his pump continuously.

Like Wile said, the fans will be noisy.

The cheapest way into hydro is hand fed coco. You can add an automated system later, it will allow the skills you have from soil growing to be used.
