Indoor Itisivolution. Paradise loft.

Fookin rip off here mate. Y'know what really pisses me off? It the shitty new build houses they throw up for about 30k then sell em for half a million. It's a license to print money for these big building companies.

Shit product... quids in. And they shaft the trades at every opportunity. [emoji51]

I know mate. I was a painter for ten years (man & boy) painting that shite. Bovis homes, David Wilson, you name it. Fookin load of shite.

Give me a hundred year old house any day.. you know it'll still be here in another hundred.

They don't make em like they used to... I remember when it was all fields round here.. etc.. [emoji1410][emoji1410][emoji1410][emoji1410]

The house we have was built in 1910 & it's on a double lot in the middle of the city, almost a 1/4 acre, completely unheard of now. We're going to expand the garden this season for more veggie production, woohoo broadfork & tiller time!

The house I'm in was made in very early 1900's solid as a rock and the loft is maaaahasive

There IS something that will suit you, you just have to have an open mind and keep looking. *hugs*

Bloody hell you couldn't buy a terraced house for that price were I live chin up witchy the brits have your back [emoji111]
Yes we do! Go witchy! Go witchy!

Then I'm in good hands! [emoji121] [emoji2] [emoji106]

Just need to import some of you guys to open the farm with me. [emoji13] LOL
Hmm, maybe we can set up remote cameras or something LOL.

The difference in house pricing is ridiculous!

Average terraced house near me is over £400,000.

I used to live in a 2 bed council flat that is now worth nearly half a fecking million!
It's not much better here either. We've doubled our money on this place since we bought it 13 years ago.

My boss has just spent a quarter of a million on a three bed terrace in Lymm it's fucking nuts the house prices in this shit hole of a country [emoji107]
I'd love a smallholding in the south west. Do I have half a million? No. So am I ever going to get one? Probably not!

I love my Victorian house, it's big and solidly built. Sure it has a few problems, but who over 100 years old is completely fit with all their marbles? I spent all morning washing mould off my bedroom walls where it hasn't been lived in for six months - no air flow!

Witchy, as the others have said, we love you! :bighug:

In other news, my tent is going up!

Timber frame shite. Did they learn nothing from the great fire?

Itisi
it is isn't it?

Mines a 1940's jobby. All brick and block built. My old flat was an early 60's concrete block. Massive, solid and cold. The concrete in the walls had no re- bar and would blow off in chunks at so much as a drawing pin. You had to go big. Rotary kango. Phwoar eh?
