It's beautiful up here, it really is. The only drawback is the snow. Summer is usually long enough to forget winter but... I'm just sick of snow atm

Do you know those areas where the houses are? Are they good and safe for an older woman to live safely by herself on a property like that?

And do you think they have FIOS?

I'm in New England so I do get snow and do get tired of it sometimes now that I don't do winter sports anymore. Also, seems like each summer is more and more humid in recent years. But my area definitely isn't as remote and snowy as Maine, certainly not as beautiful! Though I wouldn't mind retiring there with my wife. In the woods where no one can bother me, just become a hermit and grow in peace.

Maybe we should create our own community! Buy a few acres of land, add a few houses and have a farm right in the center! [emoji7] [emoji76] [emoji178] [emoji108]

The house we have was built in 1910 & it's on a double lot in the middle of the city, almost a 1/4 acre, completely unheard of now. We're going to expand the garden this season for more veggie production, woohoo broadfork & tiller time!

I was looking at prices there, but OR is definitely more expensive than ME! [emoji52]
