Hello everyone, just wanted to give a little update on the ladies I have been growing starting on June 1st. I planted a Auto Pounder (Auto Seeds), White Widow Auto (Vision seeds), Royal Bluematic (RQS), and Vertigo.

It is now week 9 going into week 10. The resin and THC content is definetely picking up from what I can tell. I am assuming that it is about time to harvest so I trimmed the White Widow and the Royal Bluematic. They are both still planted but am waiting for them to dry out completely before a 36 hour dark period before I harvest the plants.

From the pictures that I have posted the largest plant is the auto pounder at about 27" tall and wide with a 3" thick main cola as well as 12 side branches. The white widow is the tall main cola as it grew like a christmas tree at 24" tall and 2.5" thick main cola. Smallest it royal bluematic at about 12" tall and nice fat dense cola. I will give it about another week before the harvest and I cannot wait. Let me know what you think about the look of the plants so far. This is my first grow so I am trying!!!!:Stones slap: IMG_20130803_115740_550.jpgIMG_20130731_112326_807.jpgIMG_20130731_112047_400.jpgIMG_20130802_123031_751.jpgIMG_20130802_123008_763.jpgIMG_20130803_120809_600.jpgIMG_20130803_120159_793.jpgIMG_20130803_120040_025.jpgIMG_20130803_115817_951.jpgIMG_20130726_115034_293.jpgIMG_20130728_212235_879.jpg

I would say about 2 weeks left.....start the cleansing period now only feeding with ph'd water and then you will see the plant suck all the energy from the fan leaves and they will die off.

Very nice girls for your first grow, you should be proud. Not many get results like that at first, including myself.Your on your way to be a top notch grower if not already.Maybe you can give details of your grow ,soil, lights, nutes, etc so others can see what can be done.Again congrats on a super grow.:slap::tiphat:

Awsome grow man looks like my skills rubbed off on someone... na congrats bro great job especially for your first time. You should definitely be proud. Now I just can't wait to come up and try them out lol...it might all be gone lol.

Well done ... Hop digity

Update for today. Planted the Vertigo which was planted about a month ago was transplanted into a 3 gallon pot. Hoping this will help me fix my size problem as I realized all my plants seem to be stunted somewhat. If anyone wants to know about the nutes and lights I am using as well as pots and stuff here ya go.

3 gallon plastic pots $4 each
6700k 26 watt bulbs $5 per box
2700k 26 watt bulbs $5 per box
2700k 63 watt cfl bulbs $17 each
sockets with plugs $6
soil mix is
1/3 miracle grow perlite
1/3 miracle grow sphagnum peat moss
1/3 miracle grow organic potting soil

3x3 closet painted white and all bulbs hung from the coat hanger/shelving inside the closet. The nutes are just basic miracle grow veg and bloom. lights are on 20/4. Any other questions about anything or more details just let me know.

Shoutout to my boy RMFD for all he has taught me!!!

I'm thinking they might be stunted because of your mix. You may be giving them nutrients too early with the miracle soil mix you have.
But they do look nice. Looking forward to seeing more of your posts

Fox Farm soils and other brand name soils also have nutrients within the mix. I didn't use miracle grow specific brand name but rather a cheaper but very similar mix. There isn't much in there, only 1/3 so it has a little food to grow (can't completely starve them right???) After the first few weeks when there are 2 to 3 sets of true leaves you can begin to add the nutes. It grew at a very fast pace and I thought they were going to get much larger. At 7 weeks they slowed in height and began to pack on weight. The colas seem to be fairly dense and thus I think they that is where the growth is going. Could just be the seeds??? I'm waiting a little longer before harvesting as the tricome production is continuing. The auto pounder has a longer grow cycle partially due to the larger stature of this strain and the genetics require it. I have a couple regular female plants that I am just waiting to put into flower and have been vegging for the past 12 weeks. Cant wait for these to finish up to get a huge quick yield from the other plants. Hopefully!!

Just as a notice to myself when I transplanted the vertigo today, which is about a week into flower, I noticed how many roots were in the bottom of the small 1.8L planter which it has grown in for a month or so from seed. Defininetely focuses on the root zone in the first areas of its life and then shoots upwards producing what we all love.

You could be right about the seeds (pheno type) possibly pH and other factors. Not an expert but wait and other members who are more knowledgeable will chime in. But either way you seem to know what you're talking about and doing
