I'm starting this grow journal now, in about 3 hours when I get off work I will be putting together my new tent ! I started my seeds 3 days ago in a medium of ocean forest and happy frog and have had them in 5 gallon smart pots in the sun. But with the unpredictable weather here I decided to move my stuff indoors because it'll be easier for me to regulate ! My tent I'm putting together is an Aviditi 4x4x7 and lighting I may need help on :( I have a new Apollo 600watt for my 3 plants...I hope this is enough light, this is my only concern at the moment. As far as nutrients go I have the FF trio and bloombastic for later flowering. I will read up on scheduling feedings but I will use only water for 2 weeks more than likely. My 3 strains will be:
Dinafem White Widow
Dinafem Moby Dick
Bomb Seeds THC Bomb (Incorrect)
Cream of the Crop Cash Crop took the place of the THC Bomb.

As stated this is my first grow so buckle up and pray that I don't kill my beans :( and any tips or advice is welcome of course. At this point I just have a lot of stuff I've studied on the subject, but experience is how you get better !

Seeds up yet? Will be watching to see how that MD turns out...

Not yet, my uncle started growing some (which is where I got my seeds) and he said 7 days later is when they popped but he did seed to soil. I germinated mine 28 hours and had a tap on all three and threw them in the 5 gal pots so they have been in paper towels 1 day and soil 3 so maybe soon they will peak up after they go into the tent !

Sounds like you are off to a good start. That apollo is HPS? I think biggest problem for many first time growers is trying too hard. Worrying about plants and overreacting to small issues.

Yes it came with a MH and HPS bulbs I'm unsure if I should use the MH the first few weeks and then switch or just go straight with the HPS. I'm just going to let nature take it's course and not fiddle with them except when they need it ! I've learned my lesson on that !!

Looks like you are off to a great start!

I also have the Apollo 600 setup.. I do use the MH for veg, and with my first auto run (that I just started about a week ago if you want to follow it) I will use it for around the first five weeks. I read some bad reviews about the HPS that's included so I bought a Ushio Super HPS 600 that I use instead. When I made the switch I noticed a difference.. it also has some blue light for dual spectrum which is great. I've used this for photos and was pleased with the results so hopefully the autos will do the same!

I'm guessing you can run your ballast on 50, 75, 100%? I start the seedlings for a few days on 50, then a couple days on 75, then 100.. slowly raising the light as I go to around two feet above. As they get bigger I slowly move it closer. I'm running a cool tube so I can get pretty close but don't until they are mature enough to handle it. Good luck on your grow!

Thank you very much, this is now thier 4th in soil after germing them ! One is trying to peek, I'll try running on 75% today and tomorrow ! I'll check your grow out as well !!

Oops well I found out today that one of my seeds wasnt THC bomb, but a Cash Crop by Cream of the Crop seeds. I cant find much on the strain so I'm a little bummed because I knew THC bomb was a really good strain :( but I cant be too upset because my uncle gave me the beans. I also took pictures of my tent after set up and after about 8 hours some broke soil !! When i figure out how to post them I will do so :)

Nothing wrong with a CofC Cash Crop...I was thinking about growing one of their Psychofruits....

There is at least one other current Cash Crop grow going on here right now...

Here's the description from Herbie's:

To create this fast and bountiful strain the N.L male that fathered Pretty Lights was crossed with an auto Big Bud that displayed and maintained the biggest yielding phenotype. The result is a plant that boasts gigantic, super-size yields with minimal effort. She looks a million dollars when in full-flower, is easy to manage and very productive; so much so that the weight of her dense buds will need support towards cropping time.
These compact emerald-green nugs shimmer with a golden dust, have a sweet, earthy-skunk taste and harbour a powerful cerebral high making her well worth an investment….MONEY DOES GROW ON TREES!!
