Snapped a pic with my phone earlier of my big Onyx, when I had her out watering. Sorry about the crappy quality. She is at 9 weeks. Will try to get a full update next Wednesday.

I was wondering what soil/soiless mix do you start your plants in.

I'm considering either LW or Promix Bx

Any suggestions?

not to hijack your hijack... but i really like promix bx... it is my soil forever... unless they change their formula or source crap ingredients like OF did to me last year...

after OF did that is when thrips showed up and kicked my A!!!
and then i returned fire with lady bugs...

Yea I heard about that, One of my buds on youtube had the same problem with damn thrips in OF...

He ended up switching to Roots Organic to only get a worse infestation

Too much money being spent on soil to end up having thrips in it

I'm with JM, I use ProMix these are in HP but BX is just as good. BX holds water longer then HP. I think BX would be best for starting seeds.

agreed!!! OF was crazy $$$$ here anyway... like 30 bucks a bag last i bought....

now i get a bail of promix (like 4 or 5 times more than OF) for about $35 last buy (1 week ago)

NEVER an issue yet... always consistent from top to bottom of bail and from bail to bail and truckload to truckoad (shipment to my supplier)

I was really pissed at Fox Farms for that one... if they do that with their nutes I'll burn their name off my "good list" lol

I had thought it was me initaially... till i got the inside scoop and hear a bunch of others having same issue same time... :smoke:
