Indoor Jamezito's first grow! DP's Auto Ultimate & Dinafems Kush n Cheese

Looking really good Jamezito, I know what you mean about just wanting to look at them. If i didnt have to go to work I would probably just pull up a chair and sit and watch my girls. What height do you have your HPS at now? Im on day 13 with my grow under a 250w HPS.

Also nice to see more people in Ireland growing:Sharing One:

Hey ProfCrunk! Man i love going in there and having a good inspection :) I have the lights about 30'' id say man. Once they wake up again i'l measure the distance and let you know. I started about 24'' with a high fan to try and move the heat away but they got stressed :( i think they're doing good now. they really loved the calmag and the PH down. have you a journal started me auld pal? id love to check it out! what strains are you growing?

I had issues with heat stress as well. Mine is sitting at about 16 inches above the girls but I'm sure my 250w puts out way less heat than yours. I had it lower before but they got stressed pretty quickly. Now im using frozen water bottles to help keep the temp down too.

Day 21 update.

Oi amigos! Just a quick update at the end of the 3 week mark. Seeing new leaves everyday now so im pretty stoked that i have made it this far only with minor mishaps. Not much to report really, the Calmag and the PH down in the Plagron Batmix really seems to be going the trick. I'm glad i didn't transplant them sooner because they took a bit of a burning but the new leaves seem to be beautiful and green. Here are some pics taken only a few minutes ago. The light cycle is 21/3 and once a week i let them sleep for 4-5 hours. I'm finding a nice distance from the top of the tallest plant at 27''. I check it daily though because they are growing nicely and i don't want to stress them anymore. Watering wise, they are taking 5ltr of water every 48 hours. I'm not watering to runoff exactly but close enough to it i think. I'd prefer to give them a feed every 48 hours and know the roots are searching than over feed them and get root rot or have lazy roots (they wont go searching for food if they have an abundance of moist soil to feed from) Before watering the soil is dry down to my knuckle on my index finger. So, so far so good. Thanks to everyone for the help :)

They're looking bang on track now mate. Nice work.
You do need to water them with some runoff. If you don't you run the risk of build-up in the soil that could cause you problems further down the line.
Keep it up man :)

lush green plants stella.pint of guiness on order
