Hello everyone! I am still a noob when it comes to curing and I have a question. I harvested a plant last week and brown bagged it to dry. Long story short she is sitting at 59% in a mason jar right now. Would I be better off leaving her as is and burping throughout the week or adding a 62% Boveda pack to get the humidity slightly up? I plan on letting her cure for at least a month or 2 before I sample the goods, I am in no rush at all.

How long has it been in the jar?
If u dont open it the rh might go up enough to be between 60-65% which is from my understanding the "curing range".
I did the same thing with my 2nd grow but mine was at 55% and it wasnt bringing itself up enough so i put a boveda 62 in the jar which solved the problem.
Im still a noob too on my fourth grow so im curious what other people will say about this.:pop::pass:

She was jarred Friday night. The humidity rose a bit last night so I kept the lid off overnight. Today she has been closed since I woke up. She has been sitting at 59% for 12 hours now. I am keeping a close eye on her

If I am able to nail the humidity and not need a Boveda I will be really excited. I hope overnight the rh slowly creeps up to low 60s.

what are you using to check the humidity in the jar?

I was using a digital temperature and rh thermometer I figured it wasn't exact but within 10% accuracy. Everything seems to be holding up fine so far
