Rinse has begun!!!
It has been a few days since I updated this journal.
The images below are from Day 52, the day I began the two week rinse . Today is Day 56.
The trichs on one plant were 30-40% milky/cloudy and the rest were clear. The second plant's trichs were 20% cloudy/80% clear. I have no idea whether the timing was optimal or not. I know the herb is very, very good right now and the weight was snapping stems (one was beyond repair and decided to put it to good use.) More than anything else, it just "felt" that the timing was right. (I now have the colas tied to the cabinet's ceiling via dental floss.)
I expect to do a two week rinse with the last two days being in darkness. This puts the chop on Day 66.
Although I can still screw it up, I feel like it is the tail end of a roller coastal ride...just the gentle "run out" w/ minor humps after all the major drops, twists and turns. Strange feelings ...surprised it went pretty well for my first grow, learned a ton, made some mistakes, and surprisingly sorry in a way that its coming to an end.
But not sorry enough to not think about my next grow. I'm torn between doing another run of WW and trying to avoid the same mistakes (so I'll make new ones) or do a two plant Fast and Vast. I also have to decide whether to try my hand at a SCROG, ummmmm, decisions, decisions, decisions...
Here are my two WWs (two of each). These are four days old and the colas continue to put on weight. Although two plants is not a valid sample, on THIS grow, LST, even though done well into flowering, appears to have been quite beneficial. One plant got a fair dose of LST, the other didn't.
