I just chopped 2 days ago but I need to infuse some oil now. I'm running low.

Do I need to let them dry before decarbbing? I use an Ardent decarb unit.

Thanks

Here's what I do using Ardent FX.
1. Harvest something
2. Coarsely grind herb
3. Spread thinly onto a cookie sheet, and blow a fan on it until the herb loses about 75% of its wet weight, which takes about 3 hours.
4. Infuse in Ardent as usual.

My experience is that it gets a little better over the next few days.
Because the temp can't go much above boiling with wet herb, be sure to dry it first.

I infuse in my Magical Butter Machine and use my older Ardent for decarb.

I get what you are saying here though.
I am considering removing buds from the hanging plant, cutting them up for faster drying, then decarbbing and into the MBM.

I put a screen basket in there with little chunks for faster drying.
you seem to have this sussed out but I know you can do some extractions with live plants instead of dried but I'm unsure about what your machines can do. I just made some rso but I've just got the basics like a rice cooker but this was made with dry flower

Thanks.
I was able to get them dried and decarbbed after all.
