New Grower Just started a new grow...Some help required please

Cool they made it. The way Ive been going at it is to just add a few ounces of water to keep the soil moist but not really wet. I up the water every other day by just a few ounces as the soil drys out. Your temps and rh will determine how fast it drys out. As for adding any supplements, I wouldnt for the first week but more experienced growers may tell you different, they will know more than me so stick to there advice. But glad to see they made it for yah.

Cheers once again spellbound...Say 100ml every other day upping the volume slighty as i go along?

Hello and welcome to the fun. Try not to over do things, less is best. Add 100-200ml of plain water (ph6.3-6.5), do not feed unless your soil had no starter nutes, you want the water to go down so the tap root goes deep. Did you pre-wet your soil before you planted? Are you areating your water? If not get a cheap 5gal fish tank areator and two air stones and some tubing. Watch the very first leaves, when they start looking bad feed 1/4 recomended rate. Over watering and heat stress are the most common mistakes at this point. Good luck and good karma.

Woohoo, congrats! She made it.
My biggest issue (other than cat eating it!) is over watering. I am very new but my research states that the seedling will feed it self nicely for a while, that's what the cotyledons do. It's been two weeks for me almost and I have not fed yet. I did add a very small amount 1/8 tsp/gal of cal-mag as I am using distilled water. I did this just yesterday.
Good luck!!
(oh and pics. lots of 'em)

Cheers for that, yeah my soil has all the starter nutes (BioBizz allmix) was advised not to feed it anything for the first 2 weeks but was unsure whether root stimulant would still be okay to feed within the first 2 weeks. I did not wet the water after i bought it was quite nicely moist already to be honest.

ONE more quick question haha in regards to lighting will the light cycle make any sort of difference in overall bud quality/yield? currently doing 24hr due to working shifts so was planning on just leaving it on for the duration but obviously if there are more positives to using an 18hr cycle other than electric bill then ill change to that.

Thanks again
