New Grower Kat's first time

Hi SlinkyKat,

Blimey your thread grows as quickly as your girls do LOL! (Your 1st girl looks amazing & the 2nd one is coming on a treat).

I'm liking the 'new' grow box & the posts about the good 'ol days etc. At one point they sounded like a cross between a ‘Doomsday Prepper’ & ‘Huckleberry Finn’? - Only joking LOL, your thread really is well good.

With my limited knowledge I can advise the 2700K lights are mainly used during the flowering period as it helps produce big buds compared to the 6400K which is used for seeds & veg stage.


At this rate all your hard work will soon pay off.

1st girl is showing more and more pistols every day!!!
2nd girl still not showing sex yet. She's a fem seed and has had no stress, so I should see pistols in the next few days. It's smelling more and more like a little slice of heaven in here!!! I'm guessing that in the next 4 weeks, it's gonna really smell good!!

Ok, silly question, but, do I add flower nutes every time I water or, like veg nutes, every other time? I'm using MG Bloom Booster 1/4 tsp per 2 liter bottle ph'd water. Package calls for 1/2 tsp per 2 liter so am using 1/2 dose instead of 1/4 dose. As you can see from the above pic, 1/2 dose is not bothering her at all.

i either switch water/feed/water or if you water enough so that you get some runoff (think muddy said 15%?) this will keep salt levels down then you can feed/feed/feed still good to give plain water every now and then i feel just incase of salt buildup.

IMHO half strength every other watering is great :thumbs: I always feel that less is more as far as nutes go.

Don't know how I missed this one but everything looks fantastic for a first time grow! (I believe that's what I read so forgive me if I'm wrong). I would agree with Stylez... I feed then water, feed then water. I use Advanced Nutrients which are salt based and it keeps the salts from building up. Really depends on what you are using (chemical or organic based nutes) and I think I saw MG so I'm guessing Miracle Grow... which if it were me I would alternate and not feed everytime.
