I would like to do an auto out door grow this Summer. I have a short growing season and am hoping this will be just the ticket. I am looking at KCBrains 45 regular seeds. The plan would be a few small plots with one dediated to seed production. Then I would have a decent supply of auto seeds for future indoor and out door grows. Does this sound do able or am I over looking something? Also, I would like to know if anyone has experience with KC 45? How was it to grow and how was the smoke? Thanks, nh

I should probably at that I am just growing for myself. I would be content with 1/4 - 1/2 lb but it couldnt hurt to harvest more :)

Last I read on Kc It was for photo beans, and was quickly turned away by their old products with poor germ rates, but I dont know if that is changed. First can you start these inside? Second look up your areas last frost date. Third dont plant it plots, those are extremely easy to spot, do clusters of 3 girls together and no more is my rule of thumb. Once you answer these questions I can help you out more.

Thanks for the reply moons. I searched a certain seed distributor , auto and regular, and came up with KC45. It did seem to get rather tall and take a long time for an auto. I also did more searching and read the reports of germination issues that I do not want. I am open to strain suggestions at this time. I had decent luck with Advanced Biodiesel mass and bad luck with a few others. I like your suggestion of only three plants in small groups. Daves Garden website says we are usually frost free June 18 to Aug.29 so the season is short. I can start them inside as I have a small 3w x 2d x4ft tall grow box filled with flouros. Any help is apprieciated. Nh

Well first Id look at rcmc collective, killer genetics, and always seem to have some sort of deal. I would start them inside 1 month before since you have 2 months of safe outdoor season. I have found the smaller they are the quicker they finish, so smaller might be needed for your situation, but then you need more plants.. Also id probably throw them out june 20 dependent on the weather report at the time.

Also dont forget stitch on here too.

I would suggjest staying away from KC-Brains i did some photos a couple years back and had a low germ rate and the ones that did pop where long and lenky for a long while.....You need to stick with some Dragons or High rise gear
Tried and tested true rite here on the AFN...

Dragons

High rise

If you use AFN's search engine type in most any of the strains in the RCMC links and you'll find a grow on it rite here..

everybody's got opinions...here's mine lol! I'm germinating 6 KC Brains northern Lights right now. 3 have sprouted in 24 hours, will check them again in the morning. don't really know KC's overall track record, but if they grow well, then they are definitely a bargain. As for those that say they didn't pop, etc., well that can happen with any seeds, Saw a post today here about some Dutch Passion that none sprouted. Not all seeds are viable, it happens. We'll see how they grow as mine progress.

Thanks for the replies. I am not sure if rcms ships to the US. I believe I will go with MI5 regular seeds and see if I can get them to polinate and make some more seeds. I will start them inside and get them out as soon as I feel it is safe from frost. If things go as planed I will try to do a journal for you all. Thanks, Nh

Sorry for this hijacking Toker, but it needs to be asked, does RCMC post to Aus? cause i would really love some dragons,
But i have two mates currently growing the photo version of KC i did have one seed but yep it failed to germ didnt even split the case, but my mates have grow nicely, very tall and lanky girls like VERY lanky, biggest one would be 150cm and its just started to flower, what kind of strains are you chasing?
