Sweet Seeds Killernecrox's Second Grow | Fast Bud #2 |140W Led & 5L Airpot

So what do you guys think of my week two ? Looking a little too small ?

Namvet said that at this stage, they probably shouldn't be getting deficiencies which i think is true.

So i think the problem might be with my ph. I got my ph meter yesterday, i calibrated today and tested my tapwater's ph and it was 7.1-7.3. So i have been watering all along with ph water that issn't on the neutral side. I added 3 drops of ph down and tested it again and it was 6.6. So from now on before i water i'm gonna add 3 drops of ph down

ps : how bad is 7.1 - 7.3 range ? Does that make your seedling's leave droop or make it look pale green ?
pps : how many times should i calibrate my ph meter ? I received a 6.9 ph buffer solution and calibrated and threw the water with the solution in it so from now on how do i calibrate ?

Sorry for all the questions but i'm pretty new with ph meters even though i roughly understand the concept of PH :dunno:

Try to get it down and balanced around 6.5-6.6 in soil. Another grow I've seen was keeping it around 6.1-6.2 and it's kicking ass. pH determines the amount of available dissolved nutrients to the plant. Just as an "acid" dissolves metal, acidic soil keeps minerals dissolved in a form the plant can use. Different levels of acidity can make available or lockout certain nutrients. There are a few charts out on the web on pH versus nutrient availability.

One of many out there. Notice one is for hydro and one is for soil.

Hope this helps!

killer thay look healthy ,,but im wondering why nutes ? i leave all plants alone for first 3 to 4 weeks and let good soil mix feed seedlings ,as too much nutes( or any) can lock em out n really slow growth ,,( maybe its this thats making em so small )

Thanks alot tx. So i just have to make sure the water in is 6.5 and run off is 6.5 ? How do i continue calibrating my ph meter without the buffer solution ?

Hey metto, i know seedlings at week two shouldn't have any sort of nutes but they have this pale green look to this almost close to yellow so i'm worried they might be n hungry or it's cal/mag issues due to the led(led growers get cal/mag issues quite common i think?)

My first grow i did pretty much the same but at week two it's even bigger than my current grow.

Anyway i'm starting to see new growth happening and hopefully the next week report there will be a difference. I am also planning to lst on week 3 but looking at the rate they are going, i might not be able to do it.

ill post new pics of mine prob on thursday im hearing good things about fb2 ,, have you any recomendations for a fem strain i can veg for ages next to my auto looking fr a huge yielding one "munch"

Will be checking your thread out. Hmm i'm not sure about that and i wouldn't wanna give wrong recommendations so hehe..

Looks like your finally getting some good assistance other than just my shots in the dark. I had seedling issues for the first time this run, but I changed to Promix Organic soil which I believe is void of nutrients. I tried giving VERY light nutrient mixes but it looked to me that mine were underfed. Or possibly PH or even over watering (again :face:). Two of mine recovered nicely once I hit the veg stage, but one is still hurting badly and likely turn into just a "bud on a stick".

I'm pulling for you again this round. :karma Cloud:

Thanks vapeo for constantly checking in on me. They are day 21 today and there has been some growth but they are still looking small for a day 21 and i will not be LSTing them. Gonna be feeding and doing a report tomorrow :Sharing One:
