Day 12 and their still looking small. Am I asking to much to soon ? (Remember guys im new to autos)

I use leds for my autos. I use the leds for the whole grow from seedling to harvest, veg and bloom stage.

Ive been growing photoperiod for a lot of years useally under 600hps. Ive recently bourght 4 platinum led's. Never have i tryed my hand at autoflowers. I've looked in most places for advice but never is there a straight answer. Anymore help would be appreciated . thanks guys

I use fox farm ocean forest soil, fox farm grow big, fox farm big bloom and fox farm tiger bloom

What chemicals do you guys use . Ive always been a canna guy but now ive switched to advanced newts. Think advanced are better designed specifically for canabis plants. ??? I like the range of products advanced do .

No you not buddy. Autos won't really take off until pre flowering stage. Around day 25-30, got to remember autos already grow short due to lifespan from seed to harvest. It's how you grow it that changes everything but at 12 days yes is normal for autos to be short. Most autos only get about 3-4 feet tall through the whole lifespan. If u look at my grow at around 12-20 days you can see how small it was compared to how it is now at day 57

Hi!

welcome to autoflowers, my dad was also a HPS & photoperiod grower just like you.
but he's also changing his mind now.

i used canna bio on lightmix soil, but somehow it looked like there was missing something. and it variëd much, sometimes late in flower other times early veg..

i got a free test sample of MEGACROP from @Greenleaf Nutrients (only pay for shipping) and my plants look alot happier and healthy'er then with canna.
i think they are giving away the samples again right now but im not sure so dont pin me down on that

Hay guys im new to this site. Just have a question : do you use both veg and bloom with autos from the start ? (Led's)

By far the most important reason to turn on the bloom light for LEDs that have both a veg and bloom switch is to simply give the plants more light.
Turn on the bloom light when the veg light is as close as it can be, and the plants can benefit from more energy.
After turning on the bloom light, the light should be raised so that the plants aren't stressed from a sudden increase in light.
Then it can be lowered as usual.

It might be true that cannabis prefers some peak wavelength during veg, and different peak wavelength during flower, but the degree of preference is likely small.
Some of us who use Quantum Boards and COBs use the same light for the whole grow.
Any light that has a spectrum remotely resembling the sun's will work fine.

I have jumped on the 1-nute-only bandwagon, and now use MegaCrop, pH up/dn, clorox to prevent root rot, and nothing else at all.
