Been lurking around Amazon, think I might do two of the ViparSpectra 1200 units. Everything is still going swimmingly, size at this point is obviously beyond what I usually accomplish in soil. It's like a hempy that starts off running, instead of building up stride.

Thinking about putting an airstone in the bottom of the hempy with the leftover pump, after I change everything around in there. Can't see what it would hurt.

you have a leftover pump? You shouldn't lol put it in the smallest HBBSS rez, make sure you have the air diffused properly though

Hmm, hadn't considered amping up the smallest one, good idea the hempy I have going is actually the smallest, but maximizing bucket production is my key focus ATM. Was going to replace the current pump setup with one giant pump, something 1800 gph-ish. Have some four inch disk diffuser picked out as well. Never done led before, concerned to see the mag dependence thing under LEDs.

OK, question peeps. All my leaves are sticking straight up in the air. Havent seen this before. I can't see necrosis or deficiency, and the growth rate has accelerated if anything. Is this the 'praying for magnesium' symptom I've heard about, or something else?

Did you just recently feed or water? They look happy to me mine pray to the lights but yours has got some religion!!!

LOL thanks Just fed, didn't change the res but I upped the ppm on the solution I spray the rocks with, I irrigate the rocks 5-6 times a day during lights on.

That I hadnt seen this, at least to this extreme; I guess I had been sucking up to this point I'm a convert, why the hell didn't I revisit these buckets years ago! This is the most sterile/handsoff/productive run I've had in recent memory.

Your lights seem a little high to me and they are stretching IMO, but they all look healthy. They are just reaching for the light source

Hey Little Bear

Just read through your thread and I'm subscribed. I saw you like to use sm-90 I really like that stuff too. It's a perfect wetting agent so yeah if you want to do some foliar feeding with your Cal/mag and sm 90 go right ahead you can also do silicon that way if you want to too.

On the LEDs maybe you should try a test on some of their smaller units, in a small space. If you end up spending a lot right off and you don't like your light that's kind of a drag.
