Mephisto Genetics LBs First Mephisto Run

Those plants are really taking off! I sorta miss dwc. I might just run a couple buckets this winter.

You have such a tidy setup that I almost hate to offer advise. But, here goes anyway. I found 1/4 irrigation line to be great for air lines. Two reasons:

One; the black reduces light entry, however tiny into your bucket and helps keep algee out of your lines.

Two; it's rigid enough too keep the air flowing if you happen to set a bucket on the line.

This is the stuff it's usually cheaper in a hardware store.

I would use flexible black aquarium line in the bucket and down the side, then the rigid stuff from the lower sides on. It really helped me in my less tidy setup.

Hehe, dude I am like the mcnastiest cluttermonger in my bedroom, but I gotta have my garden organized, it's my happy place. The miss organized everything, just having a place for things makes it easier to maintain. You can tell clean isn't my strong suit
I'm definitely gonna check out that rigid line suggestion. I just got 100 ft of the flexible black tubing and it's GREAT, much better thickness and durability, it doesn't kink so bad and it's black instead of clear, lol. Hadn't considered the rigid tubing before though, great idea. I pinched a line once and now I furiously double check if I move anything around to make sure I don't again.

The LEDs make it so much easier to get around in there. So far, Vipar units are working great, but like everyone says, now I'm curious about the higher end gear, but no complaints. They are getting the job done just fine, and the smell under LEDs is so much more intense, just in veg. Instant smell dif when I moved them. Doing a Cal mag and silica foliar feed every once in a while, they really seem to like that.

Day 34:

This hubba is the biggest plant ive grown, and it won't stop growing :d5: 33 inches and we still obviously have more lateral growth to go, it's only week 5!

Group (the gaps between plants closed right up, I think I might run 9 total, but since this run is staggered, I'll run 7 additional until the last run)

The WB (did a little defol on this one, you can barely tell. They all took defol with absolutely no stress)

And the CD2 (I'm excited about this one, love Chem genetics)

Thanks bro, I've never had autos quite this big before. Photos, but only after a decent veg. I think we can thank Mephisto and DWC for this miracle :)

I'm an idiot dudes, was reorganizing my bean collection and I just realized it's a Chem Bubbly, not a White and Bubbly.

What's a Chem Bubbly? I'm about to go look through the subforum, but feel free to chime in, all inputs appreciated.

Day 41:

Popped 6 illuminatos. Skyrone Stomper, 3BearsxGrape, ToofDecayxFantasmo, Chem City Purps, 24^(MP) and Sour Hound(MP). Dripped the Skrone late, it's a few days behind everyone else. Using HTGs Rhizocore buckets, I can see an immediate difference. We have everything in place this time from the start, optimum temps and proper oxygenation.

The Hubbas are at eye level with me, and I'm 5'6. I'll get in there with a tape measure later.

I can't raise the lights anymore :) I'm going to charge these Hubbas rent if they get any bigger! I want to bend them but the big one looks beautiful. Going to try to get atomsto cage around it, it's listing under its own weight in flowering already and I don't want snapped branches as I move around an increasingly tighter room. Switched to 5 gals on the shorter flowering plants, to boost them up a few more inches and make the room canopy more level now that 2 of 4 of the panels are at max height. Gonna prune under the three feet line in a day or so, and some defol on the CB and the CDs.
Good shit.

:slap:Shes A Monster a Lovely One!

Thanks bro, these monsters have outgrown their lair last night. The shortest HBSS is touching the damned lights now; I have actually run out of headspace. I didn't think this was possible with autos, I really didn't. These plants are taller than me now. Which leads me to my question for you guys.

It seems like I'm going to have to bend these beautiful girls :face::pighug:

Should I do it? It will help heaps, but these huge ass plants are picturesque and I'd hate to ruin that. But, I don't have much choice. @mephisto , I figure you may want a picture of all this when it's done flowering, will bending the plant fuck those photos up for you at all? These are your genetics, and some mighty fine ones at that, I'm ambivalent and would love to have your opinion. Sorry for pinging you so much lately, I've never had so much access to the actual breeder I don't know what to do with myself.

Anyone else, love to hear you opinion. The miss says don't bend em, but we understand how much better the light penetration would be with a more even canopy.

@derek420colorado , I owe you a beer (or a poof if you don't drink). Those pumps and diffusers have made all the difference, greatly appreciated bros. And thanks @jingo for the line tip, installed the better lines on the new buckets and it's easier to move shit around in there. Put a 40 gal res in there to make watering easier, they drink like a gal a day now

Hahaha. I see you tried the ol Eu naturel route with HBSS. That was my original plan, until I saw how fast they were growing. I just had to supercrop one of the main colas to limit any more light burn. And, that's after early lst.

I'm interested to see what Mephisto recommends.

Good luck!
