Hey everyone. I have attached pics of 2 plants that have leaves looking bad. I just added their first nutes for bloom. PH looks good. Not to much water. I have looked on some sites and they say Calcium issue but I do not know how to fix. Its early in bloom so I want to fix now. any ideasView attachment 342865View attachment 342866
No I don't have anything for Calcium. is this stuff easy to get?Yey stavos. Seems lack of calcium indeed. Do you got some cal-mag supplement?
I am running 400 watt cool tube 19-5 light since birth. room is nice and cool, 76 plenty of air getting in.

If I were to take a stab...I'd say probably magnesium deficiency due to the necrosis. There are other factors to consider, but based upon what I see I would assume Mg. Treat with Epsom salts as directed in the second picture I have posted here. If things do not improve (or get worse) after a few days, perhaps a good flush is in order. The necrosis (brown dead spots) will not heal and the affected leaves may die off. That's not a big deal. But if it continues to spread after treatment with Epsom salts then something else is the cause. You could also skip the Epsom salts and buy a good cal/mag supplement. Most nutrient lines have a cal/mag or "micro" additive which would serve the same function as the Epsom salt treatment. The good news is you caught it rather early and didn't wait until things became irreversible to ask for assistance. Also check ALL OVER both the plant (even the underside of leaves) and your grow area for insects both when the light is on and off as certain pests can cause similar necrosis (aphids come to mind). Hope this helps.

9-0-0 means it's a strong Nitrogen fertilizer and has no phosphorous or potash. In other words, that is the exact opposite of what you need for flowering cannabis. In fact if you use that with your bloom nutes you will probably burn up your plants. Sorry, but you wasted your money. This http://4hydroponics.com/cal-mag-plus would have been a much better choice. Notice it is 2-0-0 instead of 9-0-0 like the baicor. However both of these products contain more Nitrogen than I would advise using on flowering plants. This is likely from the use of calcium NITRATE as a calcium source. THIS product http://4hydroponics.com/general-organics-camg would be your BEST choice as it contains no calcium nitrate and thus no excess nitrogen. I doubt calcium is indeed the problem...as calcium usually affects young leaves not the older leaves such as the large shade leaf I seen at the bottom of the plant that has necrosis. THUS, if it is indeed magnesium, you can go to the nearest pharmacy, buy some regular Epsom salts (like the kind you take a bath with) for a few bucks, mix it at the ratio suggested in the magnesium deficiency picture I provided, and fix the problem without frying your plants with unneeded nitrogen in an attempt to address a calcium deficiency (which I highly doubt is the problem to begin with). Keep in mind either of the two supplements I have suggested will provide both Cal and Mag and likely fix the problem regardless of whether its a cal or mag deficiency. But if you give the Baicor (which I don't believe contains any magnesium) and its a mag deficiency, your problem will be a whole lot worse by the time you realize it's mag not cal. Just a suggestion. Live and learn.
