Hi can anyone help me out a bit, I'm growing some green but the leaves are curling up and over on themselves but the new growth that's coming through look OK, at first I thought it was heat stress as i don't know what else to do my lights are way up high.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you for still being here and taken the time to read my rant. sorry, will post pictures tomorrow. :bong:

Post this one in the infirmary/hospital along with all of your grow related information and hopefully some pics and there will be people their willing to help you out. Most important, water ph, runoff ph, nute schedule, lighting and some pics to diagnose. Best of luck PED!

It is hard to diagnose without those and I am not the one to diagnose even if I had an idea. Look for Namvet25, si1984, JM, Muddy, one of those guys will help and they know their shit. Basically look for someone with "icons" under the user name.

leaves curling over

please help my wee babe, her leaves are curling over onto themselves , still got a nice color on her leaves-no holes or burn from the light as that was my first troubleshooting and now i dont know whats wrong with her. first time grower looking for help.
All comments appreciated. will post pictures tomorrow.
she has been growing for about 3 weeks, i have her under a 600w hps system with circulating fan, there is no humidity and no insects-not got a clue, please rally the troops and help me to get to the bottom of this illness .

Are you checking the ph of your water going in and runoff coming out of the plant? That would be the starting point for troubleshooting your ladies. Also, what medium are you growing in?

Hi a420er ! here is a picture of my gal in normal potting compost. I dont know about ph, i tested my tap water 6.4 on my ph test strip, thanks for the info. DSCF0285.jpgDSCF0286.jpgclose up of her curled up leaves, thanks in advance.

I would say humidity is too low not sure if it will recover with being so young just my :2cents: Also if your tap water is PH 6.4 when you put nutes into the water it will drop loads.. Have you gave them any feed yet?

Leaves curl up/inwards when the temperature is too high. This seems like one of those cases. Try to keep it around 27 degrees C (check google for degrees F)
I also think they should be repotted (or at least the pot should be filled to the edge) very soon, probably yesterday..
That'll give you something to work with. Don't worry too much about PH, I've been growing succesful with tap water (PH 7.5) for over 7 years, without measuring RH% and all that.
A good (and enough) soil is the most important to begin with.

I havnt fed nutes to her yet, and yes the humidity is low in my cupboard, anyway to make it more humid?
what about misting her with water?
Thank you to everyone who has got back to me.

Hopefully all this new info will help me in the future.

Keep on tokein :smokebuds:
