I'm going to guess that the water is on average 15-20 degrees F cooler that what the soil temp is.

...yup, got too dry,... avoid that, as it's a stressor on the plant, and messes with soil pH as well,... What soil pH probe did yo get? I find that the typical "cheapie" ones are rather inaccurate,.. only one I trust is the Accurate 8, which works on the same principle, but is stouter and better made,... so, I have doubts about that reading, doubly so since it's soils! ....to combat that Zn defc. faster, I'd do a couple rounds of 2x dosage of the C-M+, in a week, then as labeled... it'll take a few days at least for things to get working, so progression may continue,.. watch the new growth for halting; I'm not too sure about reversal of symptoms with Zn,... ***.... get your water temps up too, that degree difference is too much, and can shock the roots,...
