Lighting Led and preventing calmag Def

Hey @Rebel thanks for replying! My nutrient line is Advanced nutrients, sensi grow, sensi bloom, voodoo juice, carboload, rhino skin, big bud and overdrive. Calmag is Density Calmag pro. I use tap water I'm sure it's soft water where I live as I'm not in a city. My medium is palgron light mix pro.

LEDs I'm using - x2 p300 platinum LEDs.

what nutrients are you using?

Edit* Advanced Nutes I should of guessed. Why is I'm only seeing people using AN having these problems with leds?

I haven't had any problems yet. They've only just popped I'm just wanting to get prepared if it does go wrong

Use R/O water and I bet you prevent any upcoming problems you might have. use tap you will struggle unless you know how to doctor plants when they go sick

I would recommend picking up a calcium test kit for a reef aquarium and see where you are at. Good water should be close to 150ppm in calcium alone. It takes 450ppm in a reef system to build calcium carbonate skeletons in corals.

Ive see far more cal-mag issues with hps over leds if your feeding your plants properly keeping a healthy soil you'll hardly ever see cal-mag issues. Some Strains are prone to it

Very true. I did have issues with cal mag yrs ago when I ran hps... Very good point!!

OK that's a lot of supplements and I used that same line for many years. I would hold off on the cal mag right now. I have found with AN Sensi they have a fair amount of cal mag in the base nutes that you wont need to supplement right now. Leds draw more cal mag during bloom then grow so I believe that's why tang recommends day 30.

@Magic really Bro? I have ran into a calmag Def with hps before but it was corrected. Im a led noob so that's why I'm scratching my head lol

Yes. Again I too had issues with cal mag and hps.

AN has plenty of cal mag in the base nutes. That's the conclusion I have come to. I use well water but I know not everyone does so that's why I lean toward the base having enough. I have never had to supplement cal mag with my T5HOs but now with the addition of a large led panel my 5-6 week old autos are blooming heavily and showing cal mag deficiency signs for the first time. As they are sitting in the zone as well as being under the Badboy. I have also switched to General Hydroponics Maxi Line so their formula is much different.

Good thinking but hold off until bloom. I think you'll be fine. If you see anything odd post it up and we'll go from there.

@Rebel thanks for the reply dude. People slate advanced nutrients but I've had phenomenal results with them. okay I'll bring the calmag in around day 30. Would you recommend doubling the dose of calmag of I run into a Def during flower?

Also what light cycle would you recommend
