Lighting led brightness 180 vx 400

never having seen a led light on leaves me with a question. is a 400w noticeably brighter than say a 180w led? i'm asking because i do get some light leak to neighbors and wonder if they would notice the difference in how how bright the difference is.

I wouldn't say it's brighter but I've always considered the leak of purple LED light to be a dead give away ...

thanks, that's what i'm afraid of. if i'm using the led for veg only will the purple led lights be on?

If you are looking to just veg id recommend something else. I noticed a plant vegged under a 23w cfl and reflector was nearly twice the size in every way as a plant vegged under my mars II 700. Led certainly has advantages, but check out these sisters, identical in every way except I had space for 1 under led and 1 under cfl. Same stage of growth, but cfl looks much much better and bigger. (Plus I think I spent 11 on the cfl setup) this is after j bought another cfl and put em side by side, maybe day 14ish

thanks BRICH. i'll take your advice. the pics are total proof. the only thing about cfl lights is all the adjusting to get them close enough to the leaves without burning them. that gets to be a pain in the ass.
