New Grower Led light height too near ?

Hey everyone here. I just got my new led light today. It is from bsled.

It has 86x 3w and it is 140 rated wattage.

The height from the light to the top of my plant is 8-9 inches. I wanted to leave it at 12 inches but don't have enough height space.

Point is will that light distance cause bleaching ?

At 8 to 9 inches you wll probably get some bleaching.Your going to have to figure out a way to raise it.

I have found a solution to raise it but I'm planning to do it tomorrow when the lights go off. Do you think my girl can go through that waiting period or will bleachin happen fast ?

Hey tang, should I follow your GN light height guide with this light of mine or can you give me another light height guide for seedling, veg and flowering stage ? Thanks !

If your worried bro just shorten the daylight hours until u fix the height errr shortage lol.

Thanks tangs. Sorry for bombarding you with questions but I have a few more

- If I were to leave it at 12 inches from seedling to harvest, there will be plenty of issues ?

- For your rough guide how much would you recommend specifily for seedling, veg and flower for
My led light ?

- So my lights will be on for another 15 hours before lights off and then I will adjust the height, do you think any bleaching will happen in that period of time ?

Yes 12 inches at seedling stage would more than likely stunt your plants.

Follow the GN height guide and you will be safe,I've never used your light so it's up to you to find the sweet spot.

Bleaching the buds isn't the problem is the stress to the plant that is that's why I suggest a dark period but 15 hrs should be ok.

bsled, that's the blackstar 240uv knock off. from china,more or less like the bs 240uv. so best height is 16 to 18 inch's for proper node spacing, in veg.
and 10 to 12 inch's in flower, it sounds like your in a cab, and those height's may be impossible, if so, then tang has your solution, in dropping back your hour's of light."Sharing One"

I have shifted the height distance to 13 inches +. It shall be at it's optimal distance and 3 more weeks to go and hopefully i get big buds. More of this at my grow journal, check it out guys. Thanks everyone for the help here.
