Live Stoner Chat legal question..

If you are in the United States one person seeing it with there own eyes is more than enough to get a warrant, now if he says you only have 2 or 3 plants they may not bother but I wouldn't take that chance, I would get them out of dodge! You don't want to mess around and lose all your plants and equipment

there are so many points of view i can only say if your garden is in danger source it out for a while

If you are just alittle concerned that this person went to the cops I would yank everything tbo. Especially if you are in a mandatory sentencing state.

If someone you live with makes a police report saying that you grow weed is that enough for a search warrant?

Just wondering if one person saying that is enough for them to raid you? or do they need pics and other proof?

Yes. they will most likely be there the same day the report is made.

They will pull a judge out of bed in the middle of the night to get a warrant if they think they need to do it now, or have someone watch the place till morning when they can get one.

Wow that crossing the line right there. I'd get them the fuck outta my life and lay low bro!!

Good luck and hope all goes well for you.

I would call a criminal/cannabis lawyer asap. Most have an answering service and will return your call.

We just can't give you any assurances either way on the forum. Some members with a legal background might be able to point you in the right direction, privately---if the state is known and your relationship to the person making the report. Legal advice can only come from a licensed lawyer in your state.

However, some good general info. provided by members above.

As you know it is unwise to ever speak to LE. Always let the lawyer speak for you. There is a legal basis for this and is fundamental advise any lawyer would give you off the cuff.

Cheers

Thank you all for the info and for wishing me good luck guys it is very much appreciated!

Another question i have is.....if the person that filed the police report goes back and says they were drunk and just trying to get me into trouble, will that be enough to make sure no warrant is issued or could they get one anyway?

wheels are in motion already im afraid.
