Thanks JM,... I was kinda afraid of that,... those air pots have that taller cylinder shape, and from what I see here the plants certainly like that! I had it in my mind that those won't be a good choice for outdoors, but I never asked to be sure- until now! JM? Or anybody try these outdoors?...A while back when I was looking into smart pots I ran into another company, Gro Pot, that had that taller, slightly tapered sided shape,... I think they even offered some sort of plastic outer frame to help hold shape and stabilize them some.... I wonder that's the reason smart pots have such a squat shape, for stabilities sake,... alas, too late now for a change-up! I'm running some HR gear in smart pots outside, so with any luck in a few months we'll see
Modified Mustard! That's a great idea, and makes me kick myself for not ever learning how to operate a proper sewing machine!
How many times now would it have come in handy,...

???!
You could sew a collar to the top as well to extend the height; wouldn't even have to be the same fabric, if you could find something suitable....or glue a plastic collar, say cut from basic nursery type pot- soft enough to cut, but stiff enough to add structure,... !! Hey, wait a minute, I just gave away my million$$ patent idea!! :smoke:
