hand water till the roots hit the res. 2-3 times a day. If you are using a mild nutrient mix, it may root even faster. I've heard claims of the opposite, give them just water but, using a mild solution from day 5 on has never hurt a grow for me.

Don't quote me on it, but I think you can hand water from the top until you see roots poke out the bottom? @derek420colorado

Phone died before I could take new pics. Root is about 3x longer and the plant has gotten noticeably bigger!

What kind of medium is that? A different kind of hydroton? I've never seen it before.
