Brass? Damn dude you do need a new bowl. We used to use those little metal pipes they sell with the waxy crap around the outside that has an awesome design on it until you use it a lot and it heats up and cracks that cool pic away. And that's why we bought them anyway for the designs! Anyway...
You have some really cool stuff L3V3R. Spot on bro!
Have you ever tried fuming with gold? On surface work you can get some great orange and green hues in your fuming. Inside out you can get pink as well.
I want to try gold but gold is at what 85 bucks a gram on my little to nil glass and gas budget it ain't happening. I'm going to rock the wheels off on the silver till then though.
I don't know how you get supplies but we had a local shop and we could get a super fine wire. We could get an inch or two and then they weigh it. That small it's not super expensive and you can fume for a lot longer with a miniscule dot of gold compared to silver. If you get some it's a little different to use than silver I loved doing fume work. You end up with super solid pieces that are amazing colors.
I don't know about natural but I pay attention to detail and put in hours of practice. I get those blue's you are seeing from melting pure silver in the flame and the fumes the comes off the silver stick to the glass that is further out in the flame and crate that effect that's what make's the color changing glass. You can also fume with gold put gold on top of silver or vice versa to get different effects. If you are referring to regular color they have multitude of color rod's to choose from. You pretty much draw on the glass with the melted color glass rod there is a sweet spot to it right flame right angle right speed and pressure.
