I miss picking those! They grow in my old hometown Kitimat, BC. l haven't indulged Liberty Caps in 6 years now, just cubes very rarely. Lol! l was in my late 40s at the time and l'd still pick 'em in patches l have known since high school and along sidewalks when l come across them. A seasonal treat. I'd save some for Xmas/New Years and for big snow storms... it is really cool walking around when it is snowing hard. Kitimat is known for it's snowfall. The city's snowblowers are trippy to see in operation. (YouTube 'Kitimat snowfall' to see the stuff we deal with each winter.)
