Not long ago I had a chance to meet John Garcia, former Kyuss singer, now solo, at the time with Unida. We had a gig together once on his european tour with the band.
He was heavy stoned, we smoked some good dope in the backstage together. Super nice guy, very modest, a veterinarian by profession and at the same time one of the most significant stoners ever - by definition

Just a quick lighthearted thread. Have you ever met a famous person or persons? What were they like ?

For a starter, I once met Lemmy from Motorhead, backstage after a concert at the Wolverhampton Civic back in about 1982.

Gawd he was a bore, kept saying

"Wherever you been, I've been. And I'm back!"

Couldn't wait to leave. Mind you, they all smoked a lot of dope!
