Hey guys im at day 21 in flower on my 2 forum stomper and 1 white chem plants. I came home today ready to water and my leaves are like this. what do you guys think nute burn ? The runoff ph (ijust watered) was at 6.3 its not all the leaves just a few that i defoliated right before watering today. Im using 2/3 fox farm ocean forest soil with the other 1/3 being seedling soil. For nutes im using the FF trio on every watering at half strength. And the lights are on 20/4 schedule. Also one of the taller plants has a rust looking color but only at the tops. Ill post pics below thanks guys for any help or advice

Looks like Potassium deficiency to me, maybe Cal too, someone more experienced will chime in soon I'm sure :pass:

@Tgrant56 I grow in fox farms soil and used the trio. I Just switched because of a similar issue. If your feeding half strength nutrients every watering even though I'm not an expert or the bud doctor but you should flush your soil. I bet you got some lockout from the salts in the fox farm nutes. Also, if you aren't feeding cal/mag you should be at 1/4 strength to start.hope this helps and someone like waira will chime in and others who are more experienced.

Okay so the last two watering i left out the cal/mag becauese i thought since my ph was on point it would be able to absorb the correct nutrients in the 6.3-6.5 range. Hopefully it doesnt stunt the plants they are 21 days in flower.

If it is potassium should i be adding more of the tiger bloom at feedings ?

Well you shouldn't need cal mag every watering so if your using cal mag you shouldn't have a cal mag def. And tiger bloom is pretty potent stuff dont go too high of dose with that i burnt My plants with it. My guess is you got lockout and your roots are no longer taking in nutrients. Best thing to do in these situations is give plain water the next couple times they need water or to do an actual flush.

:greenthumb: some good calls above here, nice work guys! :d5:
...yes, aside from Fuxfarms soils being dicey shit, I'd say you have a lockout happening, maybe not even pH related, though be warned that straight run-off is not a reliable measure of actual in-pot pH; if it's way off, or in this case in range, it can give a ballpark idea if things are OK or not; a key factor in taking run-off is knowing what the water pH and TDS/EC is before going in, and going out,... how much run-off matters too, taken right off the bat it's loaded with conc. everything, main reason it's a lousy pH gauge,....
..cumulative nute input may be in play... how often do you feed both base nutes and Ca-Mg? ... FF nutes are not mild, even at half str., if used too often you can still get build-up, ditto for Ca-Mg.... What's you water source, pH, ppm's?
Symptoms: a little tip burn all over, hinting at nute salt overload,... multi-symptoms on that mid-level leaf, P and K defc.,.... and at the top there, that textbook B defc.... Most of this is linked to the over use of Ca-mg likely, and your water may be part of the problem as well pending info,... Too much ion load in there screw with things on several levels, but toxicity and competitive interference of uptake among certain nute ions can trigger all kinds of crap symptoms,...
I dislike flushing unless it's really called for, it's a stressor itself, waterboarding the roots basically... it has to be done fast, in under 20 min. to help prevent suffocation/O2 starvation... 2-3x pot volume, using preferably low ppm water (RO, Di, even self fill machine water is actually very good)... put at least a gallon through, and then test run-off pH and ppm,....use that as w reference for how much more to put through,... last pour should have 1/8 - 1/4 str, nutes to restore balance and replace what's been stripped...good and bad!
:greencheck: get more that info first before you do a flush first....

Okay so i use my tap water it usually come out 7.8-8.2 ph wise from the tap. I have been feeding them at half strength every feed for the last 2 week during that time i started getting these issues. Now when i add nutes to my water fresh from tap it usually brings the water withing range from 6.3ph-6.8 respectively. I also did full serving of cal mag for 3 out of 4 of those waterings. Unfortunately i dont own a ppm meter at the moment so thats not an option this time around . Oh yea i also let my water stand for about 2 days to let the chorine evaporate out. i actually performed the flush on 2/3 of the plants i did 10 gallons per pot becase they are in 5 gallon pots all phd water last gallon to go through was 1/4 nutes and 1/4 cal mag @Waira
