When the plant goes through the soil and can be seen, I will be putting it under a light source.

I bought a 125w CFL for the first 4 weeks, and a 250w CFL for flowering.

Is this o.k?

Sounds good to me,the more light the better. What are the spectrums of the bulbs?

Somewhere on the bulbs it will say warm white or cool white or something similar or 2700K or other similar numbers, have a butchers and let us know.
How many plants do you have ? A single 125W CFL will do a single plant but Im not sure it could do 2 or more plants.

There are several people using CFLs d7reu, they won't be the biggest plants but with a little planning and care you should have some good personal stash. Have a look around the forum for cfl grows and that should give you some idea of what to expect. Like Nam said, the more lights the better your grow will be but it is about economics as well. Use what you have and invest in more when you have the spare funds. The more lights you have the bigger yield you can expect. Best of luck brother.
