Lighting Lighting timer help

Any one had problems running cfls and a ballast off the same timer. Never done it before so just want to make sure there are no issues before I do it.

You have to figure out how many total watts your lights and the ballast are using than check the timer and it should list max watts it can handle.
 
I have a heavy duty 30 amp mechanical timer so should be ok. Wasn't sure if the cfls and 400 watt magnetic ballast would react to each other.
