I snip the sugar leaves and put them under a 100x scope,don't really check the calyxs anymore I let a couple of plants go over 100 days to see if they would go all amber but only got a tiny bit of amber on the calyxs.

Same here, the sugar leaves turn amber but the rest of the trichomes are S L O W.
No problem, I want cloudy, not amber.

I chopped Bubba Kush#2 today,gonna use the brown paper bag method to dry it to see if it works before I chop the big girls!

It was very sweet tasting with a hint of lemon not sure if I'd call it a bubblegum flavour but it was a very nice taste.

Cheers Cal I have another bag like that but I forgot to take a picture of it,I'll be chopping bubba#1 and the blue cheese saturday and bubba#1 is 3 times bigger than whats in the bags and then the really big girl bubba#3 will get the chop I'am gonna be swimming in bubba kush!
