Lilliput plant problem - non autoflower strain

np mate.... when you see the leaf ends curl down... we call that the "claw" and its too much nitrogen... cheers.. :smokeit:

Thanks alot, I placed an order for some Epsom Salt and will hopefully be getting it before the end of this week. Been feeding the plant 1/4 the recommended solution (1ml per liter water) for over 36 hours and still no sign of improvement, think the plant look more frail than before. Dunno how long I should be keeping it at this nute level before changing res and adding a higher nute solution?

stalling at this phase... I'd say change and flip... keep :checkph: :point:

:toke:

Engliish is not my first language so Im not sure Im following you here. Could you please clarify if I should change it to a higher nute strength or keep it like it is and just check ph and adjust that ? Nute strength right now is as I said before 1/4 (1ml per liter water). Basically seedlings and cuttings nute strength level Im using right now to give my plant a break. Although Im a bit worried if I went too low on the strength?

sorry... I'm a shorthand type of communicator.. lol

Yes... change the res... at this point you could try a jump to 1/2 strength solution... if you see the claw back off a bit ...

Yup I changed the res to 1/2, although the previous nute strength of 1/4 solution didn't help my claw problem much. The claws are still there and it also introduced another problem that looks like calcium deficiency. So now I have both nitrogen toxicity and calcium deficiency to combat.

foliar epsom salts and molasses.... and take soil corrective action in the meantime... foliar will provide fast coverage until soil can catch up with yor adjustments.

Yup, Im waiting for the epsom salt I ordered to arrive. I am growing in Hydro with claypebbles so Im not sure I am following you regarding the "soil corrective action". Also about the molasses , what and where is the use for that ?
What I have done so far is that I changed the res once again and upped it from 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended nutrient solution and then put the Aquafarm dripper feed ring on a timer. So instead of feeding my plant 24/7 as I did before Im now giving her feed 15mins per hour lights are on. And then once for 15mins during lights out half-time. LED light is about 60cm from plant. Not really seen any improvments so far, still clawing of leaf tips plus calcium deficiency present. Now I got the additional problem of yellowing of tips of leaves plus yellow colored leaf veins. Looks like Im sinking fast over here...

Plants grown under LED seem to have more Calcium/Magnesium needs and problems. Ive seen it on some of the threads before, and seen it personally with mine before. I fixed it by adding Cal/Mag with every feeding.

Interesting information. Could it be that the plant is getting more red & blue at the specific wavelengths of the LED and therefore requires more micronutes to combat cal/mag deficiency? I use the advanced nutrients ph perfect grow-micro-blow combo with a 1-1-1 ratio. Sure it would be great if you could just up the micro part to 2 and do a 1-2-1 ratio, but then you would up the dose of nitrogen too. So I guess its better for the next growth to just buy Advanced nutrients sensical mg grow/bloom to avoid the problem, or is it better and cheaper to do the epsom salt/molasses foliar feed ?
