ive just come across powder form nutes which com alot cheaper then reg liquid whats the deal with this supposidly you get more out of powder uswell plus longer shelf life

im not sure which brand of nutes youre referring to, but i use Sea Grow All Purpose in veg and their Bloom for flower. Its a "powder" type of nute and it works well for me. i bought one 1.5lb container of each, almost a year ago and i still have plenty left. i do believe the shelf life to be longer than that of most liquid nutes. One thing to consider is that it takes just a bit more effort to mix than liquid nutes, but not enough for me to worry about. i add my nutes to the water and bubble for 24hours and its ready to go.

As for dry nutes being more cost effective versus liquid nutes...i paid around $25USD including shipping for both 1.5lb containers and a liter bottle of Liquid Kelp and i still have plenty of them all left. It has been a tremendous savings for me. It all comes down to what works for you and your preference...im sure there are plenty of inexpensive liquid nutes that will last a long time too. :2cents:

Theres a thread around here somewhere on the Seagrow 4-24-24 if you want some more info on it. Or you can ask me or one of the other growers here that use it too

o right, im using advanced nutes 1 litre of big bud advanced nutirents can be up to 40 pounds but 50gs of the stuff is a 10a
