welcome all to my world.set up: 1st time with root-bags
soil: better urban dirt, btm 1/3 premium blend top 1/3 orig blend. Beans: KO cream of crop auto fem and Ministry headlights kush auto fem.7 gallon root-bags with beans started in last years outdoor soil, aprox 2 cup plug in ctr of bags.beans started on 1-1-14, directly into bags, KO sprouted on 1-3-14headlights on 1-4-14.lights: T5 HO 46x6 6500k bulbs, 12" circulating fan at 72" distance, lights at 18/6 to start at 12" above soil. soil PH at 6.8, temps at soil level at 72-76 f. night temps at 68f stable.humidity at 58%.Water: filtered tap allowed to sit out to reach room temp. no added nutrients.started with 2 Tbsp each start every 2-4 days as soil dictates.1-8-14: lights lowered to 8" above soil.1-11-14: KO doing well watered twice, 3rd set true leafs showing, clearly sativa base. Headlights has fallen over ,flat on soil,kinked at base will try to save but not hope full. 1-13-14 Headlights died... Shit !1-17-14: New headlights started in 4x4x4 container. 1-21-14:KO at 3 1/2" t x 5 1/4" wide, 5 sets leafs with side branching starting. Mixed water,3 gals with 1 tbsp each big bloom & grow big, still watering babies with filtered plain water, increased as girls/soil demands. forgot to mention that as soil was being placed in begs i added great white in layers with mix from spray bottle. habit of mine from previous outdoor grows.1-23-14: Home for lunch & decided to transplant the headlights int bag directly. Barely 1" tall and has tap root going sideways at btm of 4x4x4 almost 3" long ! Crazy little shit.. never seen anything like it.. KO at 3 1/2" x 6 1/4" w, showing sex. Not getting taller but 1 bushy little bitch. Raised light on that end to encourage some stretching for planed LST later.1-24-14: KO's bag feeling light, watered with warm tap water at 1/2 gal rate, Headlights got 1 cup. Lighting switched to 24/0. NOTED: got a 9'x9'x8' spring-house, clear model, for Christmas for my PP outdoor grow. Gotta love the wife. Yippee
