Extraction Live/Fresh Frozen Rosin

I'm curious how many of you make live rosin with your plants. I noticed that dry yield is always mentioned in grows here, but I'm considering just doing a ice-water hash extraction and pressing that when (if) I harvest. I don't really smoke so I'm going to be pressing most of my plant out anyways, and live rosin is said to be much more terpene-rich, which I don't mind either.
I'm guessing ice-water would be the easiest method for the fresh buds, but I'm also curious how fresh buds would press (I'm guessing very green and wet). Dry ice is another option that's simple to get the trichomes before I press them, but I'll cross that road when it's time.
If you have any tips or suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Yep, my friend has bubble bags and screens, as well as rosin bags, so thankfully I'm sitting pretty solid on equipment. I just need to grow the buds.
And huge thanks for the link, I was looking for live rosin threads but couldn't find anything. Live dry ice is definitely something I'm up to try out. :smoking:

And here are some fresh frozen vids by John Berfelo if you haven't already seen them. I found them really good. It turns out that pressing straight fresh frozen buds doesn't turn out a wet, green rosin like I thought. I'm definitely giving that a go!

Ah yes,we have lots of rosin pressing threads...the link is in my signature...everclear extractions...i hope im still not misunderstanding you but if you are looking for anything with butane,thats a separate forum and ya gotta get permission( due to safety concerns of blowing up and shit)

Okay awesome. Yeah I like butane extracts but I'm not big on the process with solvents. If I had a closed loop system I'd be game, but that isn't an option for me right now. I'm looking through your everclear extraction thread right now. You ever winterize your extracts? It really sparks up the quality I find.
