I won’t carry passengers thru the uber app so i damn sure wouldn’t trust no strangers in my house! Fuck that noise!

They are all tourist rentals, so no one lives there. That's the problem. Lack of owner occupancy and all the associated problems. And yes, I agree. Don't anyone scroggin in my bed and their ass cheeks on my sofa!

However, SF has a decent policy in that the owners must live in the property for majority of the year and are able to rent their property out for like a month a year. Helps a lot of people to be able to afford houses.

Have a friend in Charleston in downtown (historic part) that rents his house for a month and then rents a beach house(right in the beach) 15 minutes away, and still pockets a G!

No way to attach something to a roof without holes and some form of damage wether physical or elements wise...There are companies that are making tiles and other materials out of composites that are solar. Tesla was one of the first ones. Once the tech is good enough, personally think that is the best solution. No attachments, no major holes, and a continuous surface. And something that isn't an achitectual abomination.

Just whip your caulk out and plug them holes!

Can't put the cart in front of the horse! While I'm all for alternative energy and research, total reliance on wind and solar is a horrible idea. (DM if anyone would like to discuss). Just look at the Germans getting their reactors back on line in the next few years. That didn't take long to bring them back...Ask the French how they were doing the last few winters...How the energy prices looking in the UK? The jackasses in Brussels need to bugger off!
