"If it dries it dies" always store them wet.

You could put a single drop of dish detergent in 500ml hot water and scrub the probes with a soft toothbrush. Rinse well. SOAK in probe storage solution overnight then calibrate it.

If that doesn't fix it it will need replacement.

I've gone back to liquid drops. Not super accurate but close enough.

Hang on, just remembered that weak batteries could be the problem.
Batteries are still good according to the indicator. I always store the probe with a drop or 2 of water in the cap, theres actually a little sponge disc in the bottom of the storage cap. So as long as that has some moisture in it I just pop it back on. Im gonna replace the probe and just go to 2 point calibration.
 
I've always stored my ph probe with just the cap on :shrug:

I know you're not supposed to, but when you check your ph everyday, it never dries it... Get an apera ph60. Replacement probes are like $30-40 and it's a great pen. I only calibrate with the 4 and 7 fluids. And they don't go bad that fast
