I always put my calibration solution into smaller contianers and reuse them. I toss the used solution each time. Not that big of a deal to make sure you are getting proper readings.

I don't think you are supposed to use distilled water on pH probes. I thought it messed with the glass.

I thought it was fine to rinse with but not to store in. I rinse mine with RO and put KCI solution in the cap for storage :shrug:

I don't regularly have RO water on hand and I figure even little bits can affect over time but the object of that sentence is Time.

U don’t have bottled waters in your house? Even some spring water in bottles is technically RO water! Read the bottle it says filtered by reverse osmosis on most! ;)

DI, RO or even tap are fine for rinsing then storage solution in the cap is probably the most important part. I have a apera ph60 and replace the probe yearlyish cause I do forget and live it out occasionally :baked:
