I like to use McCormick's Grillmates Hamburger seasoning and dry toasted onions, I also use fresh onion and Herb Ox chicken bullion powder. Actually, I have tried a bunch of different stuff including Goat Crumble cheese. I have not had a bad one yet. I heat my griddle to 450°F to 500°F with my cast iron press sitting on top. Then smash them as thin as I can. Flip them, add cheese and they are done in just a few minutes. Onions on the grill are fair food!
