There’s lotsa Mexican food places…. Both upscale, and socal style taco shops…. Idaho has a fairly large Mexican population….

Idaho used to be on the Mexican border when Nevada, Utah, and 5 other states were still part of Mexico. I didn't realize until I went to Utah for my Niece's wedding in Ogden. Walking around the neighborhood I saw a lot of Mexican grocers and mechanics. So my niece told me, "Oh, yeah, this used to be Mexico."

So I'm watching Star Trek: Strange New Worlds......


A "Pulse Wave" flows throughout the ship, after the crew starts up a piece of equipment.
Beginning with the piece of equipment, Mr Spock begins to communicate by singing. The singing spreads and choreographed music begins. It spreads throughout the ship and the episode turns into a damned musical!!


And the damned cannacoffee is kicking in hardcore

I'm dying laughing! I had to stop and text my buddy and ask, "Is this what you meant the other night by the "Singing Kningons" comment?

Its a hard thing, to keep religius and political views up to your children without influencing them. As far as religion and politics go, i just tell my sons that they have time now before they are adults, to make those decisions for themselves. I try not to talk politics around them either , unless there is a wrong being perpetrated on a person or people. Then we just try to-teach them to be good to people and that you dont have to screw people over to survive. My biggest goal tho is to teach them not to dismiss anything just because somebody says it isnt true. I want their own perceptions and lives to determine their beliefs so they doesn't ever feel lied to, or trying to be controlled. I dont want anybody's words to influence their life experience in a negative way, or keep them from experiencing anything good because of outdated ways of thought!

There's a poem somewhere that describes the parents as fletchers and archers who prepare the arrow.
Trying to draw strong and aim true they release the arrow for it's long flight. From there, it is the arrows flight.

It's their politic and spririt, not mine.We encouraged deep curiosity about these things, mixed with critical thinking and that it's good to care about those things. They'll find what fits for them.

@Mossy welp, we had sum heavy t-storm activity las nite, and the pinkz def took a beating from it, as u can see....havin a break right now, but got more strong stormz comin late this afternoon & this evening, which may well finish em off pretty much, idk
