Yeah, it’s a very religious place….(Mormons and Christian’s mostly….but there’s weird things too, like Christian scientists, there was a big white separatist church there when I was a kid, plus other weirdness)…….

It is literally half of what california costs so I dont see the expensive thing. The racist thing, I mean racism is everywhere, i grew up in Pomona and South LA i was called cracker my whole life and got in plenty of fights for being the only white kid in the neighborhood even though I was probably more poor than them and lived in the same neighborhood. I'm white and my wife is Hispanic so I'm really not too concerned with the possibility of some dumb fucking racists making comments. And if they do oh well just gotta be a duck and let it roll off your back. Not like she's gonna get tarred and feathered for being light brown. And for always being seen as a Californian, that would happen anywhere i move and I'm not going up there to win a popularity contest I'm going up there to give my son a life I can't give him here in california. This isn't the california I grew up in. I've really considered other places to try and keep weed in my life but its really not as important as other things.
Fun fact about Idaho…… my grandfather built the house I grew up in (I lived there until we moved to az when I was eight) ……my parents bought it from him for fair market value in ‘84 for 33k….. today that same house, that hasn’t been updated since the 90’s is valued at 500k….. and no, it ain’t nothing special, my grandpa built it between sips of whiskey, and slaps of grandma….
I wish i woulda had the money cuz before we moved to Fort Worth we lived in lakewood in dallas and our neighbor was a nasty ass hoarder and got to the point she was gonna lose her house so she sold it to some random person for only $30k! They put maybe another $70k to bring it back from the hoarded mess it was and then proceeded to sell it for $850k! Expensive ass neighborhood for houses built in the 60’s and they certainly weren’t big!
