When i started smoking cigs were still on display racks in line at any gas station or whatever cuz they were serve yourself so we would go buy some candy and steal a few packs! Just before i turned 18 they changed the laws where they had to be moved behind the counter so had to get the older friends to buy them!

Cigarette machines were where it’s at….

Nah…. It was the 80’s…. If you wanted to smoke, you just dug around public ash trays until you found a mostly full cigarette

Digging around the ash trays in the mall as a kid was definitely a part of getting me hooked on cigarettes

Broooo i almost forgot about waffle house! All you can eat and all you can smoke! This was before it was the place for late night brawls! People were calmer when the waffles were unlimited!

I worked at a grocery store and we would just throw cartons of cigarettes in the return cart and then into the dumpster and go back after work and take them out

waffles were unlimited!

Large quantities of waffles do have a calming effect, in my experience….
