The Jeep took these two like a champ…
I get flashbacks to the '95 Cinco de Mayo Haillstorm! :what?: :what?: :what?: :what?: :what?:

It started a little west of my old farm. A day or couple days after, I went up with my neighbor in his plane.
I was amazed how easily you could see the path the storm took by the destruction on the ground!
There were homes with holes in the wall where sheet hail and extremely massive hail stones fell through the roof. Some homes were totaled from the hail alone.
I lost a barn full of square bale hay. two trucks beat all to hell and had to get a new roof.

The hail knocked every single leaf off of every single tree! The hail beat down and killed all the grass and weeds in my pasture. But that was a good thing! The Coastal Bermuda grass came back with a passion since it spreads by rhizomes and choked out any possibility of weeds. About three days before the storm, I had just aerated the pasture and fertilized afterwards. The aeration tool that I used slices the rhizomes as it's aerating. For every cut you get two sprouts
I was already making large amounts of compost and compost tea by that time. So in order to help break down the material laying on top of the soil and to get some microbes down into the soil, my whole pasture got a deep soaking of compost tea.

That was some of the highest protein content and highest production that I had got out of that pasture! That first cutting was so sweet smelling, you would think I was growing sorghum!

I like to imagine what kind of cannabis I could have grown up there in my little garden. FULL SUN all the time!

:crying: def a good plant to grow if ur on a fixed income ;) ppp
