Actually Mark Twain Played a little parlor guitar a Martin model 2 1/2-17 ,I believe the very first one of that model they made(?)(1860's?)
I had this one for a while, sold it, a 1893 Martin 2 1/2-17 (Minty)

Well the work servers are down and u was planning on doing officeie stuff today. Good thing I banked some hours earlier in the week so I basically took today off. Nice 3 day weekend.
 
I got a 1/4” thick offset stick burner…

I can make pretty good barbecue with that. :eyebrows: :cools: I found that I've had to move the meat too much for my liking.
The only time I've moved the meat in the Bandera style is when I flip the meat. And I usually don't even flip my ribs.
It also has a bowl that you can place at the bottom of the chest side. I put some water in it and eventually collects a lot of the drippings too. Makes for an interesting combo with the steam coming off of that along with the smoke.

There’s no need to move the meat with this one…. There’s a baffle plate in the cook chamber, in front of the opening to the fire box…it’s got a few holes in it to let a little heat through down low….but it redirects the hot gases up…so the entire cooking grate is useable space….no moving around to avoid the hot spots…. And there’s a spot for a water pan too… :pass:
