I can make pretty good barbecue with that.

I found that I've had to move the meat too much for my liking.
The only time I've moved the meat in the Bandera style is when I flip the meat. And I usually don't even flip my ribs.
It also has a bowl that you can place at the bottom of the chest side. I put some water in it and eventually collects a lot of the drippings too. Makes for an interesting combo with the steam coming off of that along with the smoke.
