Today's harvest...... ...

My Figs grow on last years growth....so the first time I cut them down..the two in the foreground didn't fruit .. at all.......but they are making up for it now.
I half prune now...take half the long growth out a season...

When tha new growth in the centre grows this summer... I'll take all the long branches out October........the limbs are long but flexible...a shepherd's crook is great for getting the high ones down to arms length.
