-2C with a wind chill of -4C was my record for my girls being outdoors in it....woof....Bitter...

No... .. prevailing sea wind tends to keep the frost off...I'm only 10 minutes off the coast..but..I can feel that France has snow...and they were giving snow on the mountains warnings for my county.

Well...we were supposed to go shopping today...sigh.... ... until hubby kept himself awake all night coughing..with that bug that all the town has..that he got from standing in the bar with them all the other night....

. Surprise huh...?..not.......


No point getting grumpy.. it's as likely getting it going shopping...and we gotta shop.....I'm not to the point of wearing a mask again..but I am to the point of getting some antiseptic wipes to clean the shopping trolley handle down when we do go shopping...and keeping out of other people's air space...

Morning. I'm still exactly where I was several hours ago (my clever watch reports 9h51 of sleep - not bad) . In same bed, same cat on lap. Had tea, but now I need breakfast!

Cat counts as a hot water bottle in cold weather.....well trained...

Yes please. Yeah, I've had this cough a sore throat since just after Christmas. It's really starting to wear me down. I had my first day back to work yesterday and definitly on the struggle bus. But there are bills to pay so, All Aboard!
