Well..at one time it was an accepted perk for wagon drivers to have a bit fiddle on the side.. their basic wage was crap..

@Cobstopper ..I was the Union gaffer.....if I could stop the buggers before they got sacked...it saved me and the shop stewards 4 months of appeals and a tribunal...

Luckily we don’t have that issue with guys stealing stuff. Most the time if you ask the boss he will just tell you take it unless it’s alot of material. We do have one guy that made us wonder but that’s it. It’s the drug and alcohol that would be in everyone’s vehicles. We got one guy that can’t wait till he gets home so he brings road beers to work for the ride home
